Surf Snowdonia Wavegarden Open as of August 1 2015 | Surf Park Central

PRESS RELEASE
August 1, 2015 by Surf Snowdonia

The time has finally come folks! We’re absolutely delighted to be launching what we believe is the most exciting family destination in the UK.

From Saturday August 1st we’ll be generating the longest man-made surfable waves on the planet. Have you seen what they look like yet?

Watch the Surf Snowdonia Edit from Magic Seaweed

Our pioneering Wavegarden technology is a complete game changer because it is going to make the sport of surfing so much more accessible. Our lagoon can simultaneously generate beginner, intermediate and advanced waves at 2m, 1.2m and 0.7m. All ages and abilities will be able to learn, progress and hone their skills more rapidly because the frequency and quality of our waves is guaranteed.

Surf Snowdonia Inland Surfing Lagoon Now Open | Surf Park Central

Our wonderful team of surf coaches, led by Welsh Surf Champion Jo Dennison, is ready to welcome you and your family and friends and get you started on the waves. They love surfing. And they can’t wait to get you hooked too.

If you’re not quite ready to get in your wet suit just yet our surf-side dining, bar, retail, soft-play and camping pod facilities mean you can come and be a part of the action without even getting wet.

The Surf Snowdonia Wavegarden will operate from 10.00am until sunset, and the park will be open from 8.30am for breakfast through to last orders in the bar at 11pm, 7 days a week.

We can’t wait to see you!
