Team Creatures Takes Apart The Melbourne Pool

From team tests to Olympic training, surf pools offer endless possibilities

The latest clip out of Melbourne’s URBNSURF comes from the Creatures of Leisure of team: Jack Freestone, Mitch Coleborn, Jay Davies, Felicity Palmateer, Winter Vincent and Kobi Clements.

Think the crew enjoyed surfing it? Just check their smiles during every wave.

From Freestone’s full-rote alley-oops, to Davies frontside whips, to Clements fins-first tubes, the Creatures team toyed with the tech, taking a new approach to every wave. And that’s the beauty of surfing in a pool: It’s impossible to blow a section, when there’s always an identical one right behind it.
